About

The primary program of the SEEDS Foundation is SEEDS Academy, a college-preparatory boarding school (grades 9-12) created in 2003 to provide Senegalese boys with a year-round, rigorous academic, athletic and leadership development curriculum.

The Academy is demonstrating significant accomplishments, such as a 50% success rate on the French Baccalaureate, ten points above the national average.

The SEEDS Academy is currently located on a leased government property, National Center for Vocational and Sports Education (CNEPS) in Thies, Senegal, where the enrollment capacity is 30 student-athletes. SEEDS Academy offers free tuition, room, board, and three full meals a day.

SEEDS Academy has been established with limited human and financial resources.

To date, more than 20 alumni have realized the opportunity to continue to pursue their dreams beyond the Academy.
